Morning or Afternoon Cafe, Had coffee still quite low of morning temperatures.
I do not mind as I can more on, fleas may not live through the cold.
Like that would be a win.

Overnight low tonight forecast is negative double digits. We're not going to get the inches-to-feet of snow, or the ice. I think we're pretty lucky!

What are you going to treat the flock with to deworm them? Sounds like roundworms.

Good Morning,
1st coffee is ready and it tastes so nice. I was so busy this morning trying to get everything ready for dogs and chickens because we will be getting 35C=95F today, it has started already, sticky humid and the loud sound of insects is deafening. Tomorrow will be 37C=98F.

Even the wild birds try to drink water from the chicken areas. That is spelling trouble and more trouble. I had put a big bucket of water at the front of the house so the wild birds can drink, but there is a river a few streets away.

What are you going to treat the flock with to deworm them? Sounds like roundworms.

I treated that 2 hens yesterday with Kilverm individually because they do not drink it when I put in their drinking water. I do that individually so it will take a while to get the whole flock treated.

I just checked, this med treat round worms also, that is good!!!

Today and tomorrow having extreme heat, the Kilverm stated that "contraindicated for use in extremely hot weather" so on these 2 days I can not treat them.

I can not stop their water before bed and give this as their only source of water, if they still not drinking it, it will be very bad in this extreme hot weather.

It is only 7:15am over here, my chickens are already wings out, open mouths and all sitting still. I have a big bucket ready to dip them into when they start to open/close their eyes with open mouth breathing.

Extreme cold over there, extreme heat over here.....

@DobieLover I keep on forgetting to tell you about our trip to Viet Nam many years ago. So many information saying that do not drink ice or water over there, has to be from those individual single water bottle like we have over here. We all had running bowel to some degree. I ate 1 tiny bit outside and off it went. The medication my dad had with him from home did not work, he end up took the local medication and it stopped the running.

I ate my whole day meals in the hotel at breakfast, and out all day with my water bottle, then back to the hotel had dinner. It was a pain as I can smell the yummy street foods, they all look so inviting, but I did not eat any. My brother ate everything and took medication and continued his enjoyment of the local cruisins street food. I had a great time when I was there, the hotel had many local food that I ate, but I missed the street foods. I did not want to end up sick and stayed in the hotel on my holiday.

This was over 15 years ago so things might have improve.
