Is my silkie crossed Americana a roo or female?

Just got my first chickens a few days ago and they’re all six weeks. One is a black silkie crossed with an Americana and the farmer wasn’t sure what gender because it’s half silkie. Said he’ll give us another if it does turn out a roo, but I’m already very attached.
We can’t have Roos in our neighborhood though.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
