Hi I have three chocolate turkey poults now at 14 weeks old. 2 jakes and one jenny ( two boys and one girl). when they were little I was very close to them and strangly enough they used to keep warm from my body heat. now I dont go out side any more when they are let out. into the pen. today I let them out of the pen and out to free rome on 2 acres of property. I used to walk with them but they explore on their own. but any way all three came racing out and imeadeitly started to forage. I went to go in and suddenly my female sat down and stopped what she was doing. Today was a hot day and I got home an hour ago. I looked and saw they were out of water so I filled it. both males started to drink but she ignored it. I steped near the water dish and she came over and drank. when I put them back in the pen and started to walk away she left the two males and laid down away from the head down help please!!!!!!!
