Is my white leghorn a SHE or a HE?

I miscalculated! She is 18 weeks old! Does this make a difference? She was hatched May 23rd. I was calculating the 5 months off the wrong date! So she's not quite 5 months...more like 4 months and a week...

Is she still a SHE?

I vote pullet. If it was a roo at 18 wks it would have been crowing already. Mine did and did and did some more. Boy do they crow.

Oh come on now! My girls' combs flopped over a good two weeks ago and still no eggs from them!

I think they are about 16-17 weeks now.

I vote girl too. My WL are 14 weeks old and the two boys have been obvious from about week 6 huge combs and crowing like mad. Maybe you are hearing her "eggs coming soon" song???

My leghorn pullet started laying weeks ago (in the weirdest places...like high shelves in the garage anytime she could squeeze in the door) & her comb hasn't flopped yet. I have to daily remind my husband, she is not a roo & is laying nice white eggs for us, because of the big, beautiful comb!!

Sorry for the earlier complaint about mine not laying.... I GOT MY FIRST EGG TODAY, from said flopped over comb chickie (well one of them) WOOHOO
