This is one of my new chicks, a little EE. He/she is only 2 weeks old. I know it is real early to tell but if this is a pullet would she be forming a comb already? What do you think - roo, pullet, or too early to tell?

Too early to tell anything. After the feathers come in (~6 weeks), then post pics on the What Breed/Gender board. Many EEs give away their gender by feather pattern.

I think we ALL feel that way.

its so hard to wait to know the gender!

If it makes you feel any better, I bought sexed pullets and still worried about most of them. It turned out that the only whoops (an EE) was obvious at 3 weeks and the rest of the worrying was for nothing.

Mine are suppose to be sexed pullets too. I guess time will tell.

We bought some chicks and they are only about a week old and i worry about them already. Especially one of the golden comets since her comb is taller than her sisters and they are sex links lol. Its natural.
