I just learned a trick for sexing pea comb chicks, and I'm going to share it with you. A male will have 3 rows of peas, a female with have a single row. Your chick may be a bit young yet to tell. I couldn't tell from the pics myself, but you can inspect closer than me. My male Brahma mixes were tailless and bald shouldered at that age, but they aren't pure Brahma.

dunnmom thank you for that good info I just went and took some pictures of our dark Brahma baby chick better pictures of the comb I couldn't really understand what you meant by peacome chicks here are the pictures what do you think

Your comb pics didn't post. I bet, if you wait a week or so, you should be able to tell more easily. A male will be likely to grow wattles and start flushing in the face, comb, and wattles around 5 to 6 weeks.

dunnmom I just reposted the pictures do you see them now thank you for your reply

I'm really new to this I just reposted the pictures I'm pretty sure they uploaded now

It may be a bit too early to know the gender. But I’m just going to guess that it looks pulletish to me so far? Post pics back when 7-8 weeks old (will have a much better idea -hopefully- by then) - pretty bird!

I agree it looks like a pullet right now. Alot of the more experienced chicken keepers recommend waiting at least until 5-6 weeks to ask gender and/or breed, as I've found out.
