Is picking up a bunny and placing it on your lap an act of cruelty?

Is picking up a bunny from their cage and placing them on your lap an act of cruelty? I was watching a video on YouTube and this “social media influencer (most likely a Karen)” is saying a lot of things you shouldn’t do with a rabbit. What are your opinions?

Unless you pick it up by the ears and drop it on to your lap from 6 feet, there is absolutely no reason for it to be cruel.
In fact, many many rabbits love cuddles, and sitting on laps, and wouldn't have it any other way.
If she/he really doesn't like it, then I might try to just stroke it on ground level, but if you need to pick them up for any reason go ahead!

I have one hand behind it’s butt and one hand holding the front part. I make sure she is well supported on the rear.

I never pickup my bunny by the ears.
