I have a pomegranate tree and some leaves fell on the ground... wondering if they will be okay? I know tomato leaves are toxic but they can eat the fruit sometimes. If the leaves are okay, I would like to give it to them regularly. They can’t free range due to predators.

Chickens don't really eat tree or shrub leaves. They can't have the fruit, (it's citrus,) but I'm not sure about the leaves. Even if they are bad, the peck or two they would give it wouldn't harm them. They ignore leaves, as they can't digest them well, so don't expect them to eat them. Regarding this, you can dump the leaves in the run so they can scratch through for insects. Hope this helped.
