is potting soil healthy for chickens' dust bathing?

Nix on potting soil, many brands have fertilizer added, moisture retentive elements as well as perlite and or vermiculite.

Peat moss is generally a breeding ground for fungus gnats which the chickens might enjoy but, also molds over easily.

I hybridize streptocarpus houseplants, so pay alot of attention to what is in or out of any potting soil I buy.
