Is pullet a minorca or leghorn

Hi everyone, I got a chick about a month ago from a friend. He bought them from someone who clammed they were black minorcas . Now I’m having second thoughts . I think she might be a black leghorn. Can anyone

help me

Black Minorca. A Leghorn would have yellow shanks and feet, and a smaller brighter eye.

I think Minorcas are fairly small chickens, and she will probably grow a bit more, too.

Actually Minorcas are one of the largest Mediterranean breeds.

In the US, where I live, Black Minorcas are fairly common.
Black Leghorns are much rarer here.
The two breeds look fairly similar to each other--slender bodies, white earlobes, lay white eggs.


Since you were told the bird is a Minorca, what makes you think it is a Leghorn instead? (Sometimes there are details that are obvious to you but that we can't see in the pictures.)

You have a Minorca. Leghorns have yellow legs. I have a Minorca too, she is very sweet little girl. As NatJ said, why were you wondering if it was a leghorn, if it was labled as a Minorca?
