About 4 weeks old in these pictures. Thought to be Cochin Bantam. Roo or Hen? I want it to be a hen sooo bad...but that comb...and are those wattles turning pink!?

I dunno, my giant cochin hens have red combs and wattles, just smaller version of the roos. It could still be a hen although I'm not sure exactly what point they'd have developed at that age.

I'm not familiar with Cochins, but at 4 weeks that is awfully young to have wattles that red... I'm voting roo.

I guess roo. Here's my cochin roo at 5 weeks (and he's definitely a roo now). Looks pretty similar to yours.

I've had a cochin roo before, and they turn red super early. Around week four their comb will really shoot up in size, and their wattles turn red. The girls do get red combs, but not until week 8 or so.

I'm sorry about the bad news, but that's a handsome boy.
