Is save a chick probiotic / electrolyte work on sick chickens ?

I agree with @sourland --Sav-A-Chick will boost your chickens' systems but won't cure sickness on its own.

Many, if not most, of my hens are older than yours, and quite a few still lay. I hope you are able to get all of yours healthy. If you can describe what's wrong with them, I'm sure someone here can offer useful advice.

Welcome to BYC!
If your hens are not actually sick, they do not need the extra probiotics.

Three years is only the beginning of middle age for most breeds. A lot of chickens (especially healthy backyard flocks) can live to be 8 or older, and most hens will continue laying weekly until the age of 5-7. Your hens still have some years of life ahead of them.
Might be good to also point out that probiotics and electrolytes are very different. When talking with my chickens’ vet about supplements, she said what others have already said here—that extra supplementation really isn’t needed or advisable unless a chicken’s sick or there’s another reason to give her a boost. Aart (chicken guru here who’s answered many a question I’ve posted) recently suggested giving some electrolytes when temps plummet, for example, which sounded like a great idea to me. I took that advice and my girls seemed to feel better. I bet exposure to hotter temps would call for a boost, too.

Just be sure to offer electrolytes in particular in moderation and always also provide plain, fresh water. My vet warned me to use electrolytes with caution because too much sodium and potassium can actually be harmful.
