Is seeing an air pocket mean good news?

We candled the eggs tonight and with the most powerful flashlight we got, all we could see was like an air pocket. Nothing else. Is that good or bad news?

Sorry I thought I said. It’s day 10-16 for all the eggs. I’m done now and I’ve heard dont do it after 18 so maybe one more time later. But the pocket takes up 15 or so percent of the egg.

Pics would help. You should be able to see veining and movement. Sometimes you can't see much on brown or coloured eggs but you should be able to make out a vein or a movement if you look hard enough.

They’re brown but not like maran dark. I mean I’m using a tac light that can see a bird in a tree from 100 feet away lol. I feel like I could see it. It was pitch black too.

I wouldn't throw them away...

Did you check the fertility on any before you set the eggs?

Did they come from your own flock?
