Esta is only 4 weeks old but she is the only one of my 22 chicks that has a pink comb - so what do you think? is SHE a roo?

Esta is one of two favorites and we were not planning on keeping any roos - hubby has already said Esta is staying roo or not [IMG] but our neighbor has already been a jerk saying you better not have any roosters over there or I will kill it personally - ummm not a chance! [IMG] We love our Esta!! Anyone else think she is a roo as well??

Quote:My neighbor is threatening us also. They said if we have a roo that they will send their dog over to eat our chickens. She told the neighbor across the street(they got chicks too) that if they hear a rooster from either of our houses she is calling the police. We are within our legal rights to keep a rooster. Although, my dh and I have no plans keeping any, but the neighbor across the street does have one in her flock.

Wanted to update this thread for those that responded before - Esta has not crowed yet - but we have changed HER name to Elvis as we await his first crow! [IMG]
