I am in the "get her a companion" camp - is that possible?



Has she ever gone broody and raised goslings?


Our geese love fruit also plus frozen veggies, black oil sunflower seeds and lettuce.

In the past she has gone broody and sat on a nest but never successfully hatched any goslings...

I find that the females seem to be much less of a bully than the males. See if you can find her a girlfriend! She will be just as happy! There just won't be any babies running around next spring.

I'm thinking that will make Bonny goose happy

....will she possibly adopt a young female gosling as her own if I went and bought one for her? I have heard Geese will do this, I am just a little unsure...

She will adopt it. Even my male comes running if he hears a baby crying. It really will make her happy.
