Well, she technically can't be an Araucana since she has a tail. She might possibly have meant an Ameraucana if she possibly meets the standard? Ameraucana and Araucana have strict written standards, dealing with color and their physical description that the birds have to match to be considered as their respective breeds. http://www.ameraucana.org/standard.html and http://araucana.net/ are the websites for the parent clubs, they have write ups on their facts pages about the differences between them all.

Green eggs make me think EE...Ameraucana eggs are blue. She looks like a Blue or black ameraucana - they lay Blue eggs- (my black ameraucana is a bit darker than her but the pics are hard to see mobile right now). What color are the bottoms of her feet? White or yellow?
Nice beard!
Pretty bird.
Ok,is she possibly a mix??

When she lays that pretty egg for you you'll know, but white soles tend to be ameraucanas and yellow soles EEs.
Better lighting would help but I *think* she's a black ameraucana (maybe blue)

Ok and sorry about the lighting she never stays put and the sun was shining she has been pacing the nest boxes so that first egg is on the way!

Don't think you can really tell if she is a mix if you don't know her pedigree, even birds from generations of purebred show stock will sometimes turn out to have disqualifying faults.

Well I am in now means of showing them and none of my chickens have pedigree but I'm pretty sure she is a Ameraucana
