I have a black Australorp who might be broody. She won't peck or cluck at me, but she will to the other hens. I put an egg and a golf ball next to her and she put both of them under her.She also will stay on the nest for a while, but them goes off it for a while.I don't think she is but is she becoming broody or not? If she is what are my options for her broodiness?

Watcher over the next 2 days. If she stays on the nest (not counting short breaks to eat etc) and sleeps in the nest box she is broody. Your options then are to either give her some fertile eggs to hatch for you or to break her broodiness by placing her in a wire bottom cage for a few days.
