Is she Broody?

I have a black sex link hen who is acting as if she may be broody.Meowing,fighting,growling at me,bare sides on her body,sitting for long periods of time a day,and there are feathers of hers EVERYWHERE on the bottom of her nest,she also goes to the same nest.Maybe she is preparing,or is she starting?


Even if they have yoke in it,can't that still mean,fertile eggs,just need heat?

If you have a rooster, I'm pretty sure they're fertilized. If no rooster, then they are sitting on the eggs for naught. I'm curious about broodiness myself. Good Luck!

I do have a rooster.

I am pretty sure she decided to go full on broody,so i left her egg,and took the others.I'm afarid the ducks will fight her,since her nest box is on the ground,but it's HUGE!
