Is she molting?

Hello,

I am a newish chicken owner, had my 6 girls for 1 yr in April . One of my RIR's is suddenly losing feathers. It is the right time of year for molting but I've read it starts on the head/neck. She isn't really missing any feathers from her head and neck. Is this molting or could she have another problem? She's acting normal. Any help appreciated.

Oh...it starts anywhere and everywhere....each bird is different.

Check for lice/mites...but...Yup...I say she's molting. Soon it will look light a pillow fight went off in the coop.
