Is she safe to eat? (hope so because we just did!)

Cassie, I have four chickens they all have names. I love them, there for they are chickens, food I would never eat them. Sue me.
Why would I sue or even disagree with you? Look at my previous post on this thread and you will see where I said that around here we don't eat pets. We don't name food either.

I know you didn't. I thought you had misunderstood me and I was trying to clear things up. Didn't do a very good job, I'm afraid. For many years we had a pet hen named Abby. She slept in the shop and she got real vocal when my husband was working in there past her bedtime. When the roosters chased her she would run to us for protection and she made chopping kindling very difficult. She was after the bugs in the newly chopped wood and we had to be careful not to hit her with the axe. When she died I buried her in our pet cemetary. She was a lot of fun to have around and I miss her.

Honey, can I suggest you not troll the meat bird section. This is the specific area we talk about butchering and eating our chickens. That's what this place is for. Please don't come here and tell us it's wrong or how horrible we are. There are many places on this site where folks don't talk about eating their birds, sounds like you need to stay there.

Hi ya'll! I just wanted to say that I was just kidding about the sue me thing and I take it back :) also, I will stay out of the meat bird forum like I should be doing ;) Love ya'll and God bless :)
