Is she sick or did she get pecked

One of my hens i noticed is missing an eye. I am not sure when or how it happened she doesn't seem to be ill and she eats and interacts with the others just fine but does anyone know if this is do to an illness or and injury? Oh and my ISA Browns are very mean they are even mean to me.

They can be pecked in the eye or injured on something sharp. Can you see any evidence that the eye is still intact? I would clean her eye with saline, and apply some Terramycin eye ointment or plain Neosporin ointment twice a day. A hen I had once had her eye pecked by the other chickens, and her conjunctiva tissue was very swollen for days. After awhile the eyeball was located, but she did seem blind in the eye afterward.
