Is she sick or is this just cecal poo? (gross poo photos)

Maybe I'm just being ridiculous, but I think that maybe my 2 year old Red Star is sick. She has been quite restless, unusually quiet and sleeping during the day which is very unlike her. And she's somewhat reluctant to come out of the run when I open the door.

This one was as solid as shown above until someone trod on it:


Today the poos were runnier but the same colour. She's been producing these quite often, but still laying eggs.

Am I just too worried or is she sick?

I don't really think your poop samples indicate anything specific, but general lethargy can definitely be a warning sign that something is up.

You might consider giving her a closer-up examination and see if you see some other warning sign.

Yes, I will do that. Usually lethargy has been a prelude to worse problems, that was why I am a bit worried.
