Hello everyone, my hen has been laying down in the middle of the yard for a few days now, when the others are exploring she’ll just sit down. she’s also been making noise constantly. like when she breathes. she did that last year and eventually stopped. she’s eating and drinking fine. am i just being paranoid?

Have you changed anything in the coop ?

While we wait on the video, can you feel her crop to see if it is empty, full, hard, soft, or puffy? Can you get her to drink some water from a small cup held up to her beak? Add electrolytes if you have them. She looks to be molting. How are her poops? Have you seen any symptoms such as watery eyes, nasal drainage, or sneezing? Is she making a high pitched wheezing sound?
