Is she the one?

I have been finding broken/mashed eggs in the nest box. I have 7 laying hens. Today I go to collect the egg and find my BO sitting in the nest. Ok, I go hang out with the goats for about 30 minutes. I go back in the coop, the BO is standing in the nest, when I look in she jumps out and I find the crushed egg shell.

Do you think this means she is the one eating the eggs?

Wanted to add...she is on laying mash with good calcium content and there are golf balls in the nest.

Did she have yolk on her beak? I have always been able to identify egg eaters by finding bits of dried yolk on the beak.

Put a fy pan in the coop and see which ones is doing the cooking....

Seriously make sure you take out all the egg so they all don't get a taste and start themselves
