Is silkie feathering genetic?? Is it like frizzle?? so if i cross a silkie with another breed can then cross the resulting chick with another chicken that is not silkie at all..... with i have like a 50/50 chance that it could be a silkie or not at all???

i just crossed a silkie with a ee and the chick looks more like the ee but no leg feathering i just crossed a silkie roo with a partrige plymouth rock and the resulting chick is more like the silkie dady(black ) feathered legs and all

Yes Silkie feathering is genetic, it is recessive. No you won't get Silkie feathers crossing a 1/2 Silkie with another breed.
Your 1/2 Silkies won't be Silkie feathered either.

Now you are talking about something different.
feathered legs is dominant, so is dark skin, even extra toes. They probably wil also have a small crest, but not the Silkie feathers.

If you cross two half silkies together, or a half silkie back to a silkie, a portion of the offspring will be silkie feathered. And you occasionally get a bird that is partly silkie feathered.
