8 weeks ago my friend and I came home from the tractor supply store with 6 baby chicks.1 Buff Silkie, 1 black Sumatra, and4 White Plymouth Rocks. We still only give them starter feed. Once the birds moved from the brooder to the coop I noticed most of the poo is formed and grayish but someone has brownish red liquid stools. Is something wrong with one of them and is it contagious.

Are you noticing any other symptoms or changes in behavior that would indicate possible illness? It *could* be coccidia, but could also just as easily be that you are noticing what is called "cecal poop". Sorting through other clues is how you will determine which it is. Can you got take a photo of one of the poops in question and also a photo that shows your birds in their current state? Do they have access to the outdoors now that they are in the coop? Are there or have there been other chickens in the coop they moved into?
