We have 3 Barred Rock chicks that we got at the same time from TSC. Out of the 3, this is the only one with what looks like a red waddle growing. This one also doesn’t have a distinct spot on the top if it’s head. It smears down the back of its neck. Thoughts on it being a cockerel???

Ok so nothing is screaming cockerel yet so for right now I would guess pullet. Cockerel BRs are typically lighter in color than the pullets are and this chick looks pretty dark as of rn, as do your other two BRs. You can see in this pic how the chick in front is lighter than the pullet in the back. Now you can obviously see that the chick in front has a much darker and developed comb and waddles but you can see the color difference as well, which would make it a cockerel.

I can’t say with 100% yours is is a girl because it is still so young and those feathers could lighten up.
