Is the beagle I adopted full blooded or a mix?

I don't know what the requirements are there. We don't have to have a pet lincense here. The humane society was walling my dog Gino. It really doesn't fit a farm dog watching over chickens. So I let him pick his own name. He was only 3 months old. And he said Fwankenstein. I knew what he meant. So he is now Frankenstein.

Looks fullblooded. A lot of the mixes I see have a sloped stop, hers is pretty good

Sophie definatly fits her, and after a day of calling her by it, she already recognises its her name. I would have never thought of Sophie, thanks for posting it.

You're welcome and I am glad it fits her. Good luck with your new cute little fur baby! She is so cute! My friends neighbor has a cute little poodle puppy named Sophie and so when I saw your dogs pics it was the first name that popped into my head and I thought it fit that cute little beagle and would be perfect for her so I suggested it. Its perfect for her! Glad to hear it fits her and she responds to it, thats great! good luck with her! she is a cute little darling dog, she's a doll! good luck with her! oh and just curious what other dogs/pets do you have and are they outdoor too? They all sound so cute!

beagles- are known hunters, so i wouldnt be surprised if she actually just wondered off and didnt come back, they are known for such travel, you will want to keep her leashed fenced for sure.

Beagles are very smart and they know where home is. The only way they won't come home is if something bad happens. I saw a picture of some dogs playing poker once. If I'm not mistaken one of them was a beagle. Poker is not easy for most humans. Especially to be good at it. There was no way of knowing the back story of the picture or how well the beagle was doing. But just the fact that he was allowed to sit in on a game with other dogs that knew how to play poker shows that they are very smart. Even to be able to deal and hold the cards is amazing for a dog. All I'm sayin is if a beagle can play poker. They can find their way home.

I've seen dogs shoot pool too. Don't remember if any were beagles though. Probably not. I don't think they're tall enough to reach table. I think tall dogs like Mastiffs and Great Danes would be good at pool. It's more skill than anything. So a dog wouldn't have to be as smart as one playing poker

p.s. I know for a fact Weiner dogs are good at Yahtzee. And I also know Min Pins are terrible at Slug Bug. My Min Pin named Hot Rod rode with me in my semi and we played all over the country. He was terrible. I beat him about 625 to 3
