Is the Heat Light Necessary 24-7 When In Kitchen

Good Morning All
I added the “in kitchen” to the title because it’s where I have them right now and that may be important information. There are 6 chicks and they are 3 weeks old. I have them in a large Rubbermaid tub with a heat lamp I keep rising so it’s not too hot. My question is - given they are 3 weeks and they are in the kitchen where my temp is about 68-70 do I still need the heat lamp on 24/7?

I would say yes, for at least another week. Then you can put it on at night. Make sure there is no draft.
