hello, i found a fairy egg on the floor in the coop. I was wondering if it could hatch because one of my hens are broody. I have doubt that it is even fertile because it was my hens first egg, but i have a rooster in the same coop and it mates her occasionally. thank you.

Since it was your hen's first egg, I am assuming your hen is still pretty young. I would advise against hatching eggs when the parents are under a year old. The chicks may not be very healthy if they hatch at all.

Hello....No, I would not try the fairy egg...Usually those have no yolk....;)
You can hatch eggs from Pullets under a year old....;)...My Pullets are turning 1 year old in May and June....I have been hatching Chicks under my Broody Pullets since January with healthy live Chicks every time .....Hatch your eggs...:)....

Best wishes....:)
