Is there a chart on what air sac should look like at diff stages?

A detached air sack just looks like a dark grey bubble of air about the size of a marble that floats to the very top side of the egg shell when candled, it will move in time with the turning and may have smaller bubbles attached to it, it is fairly noticable and much clearer to see than the yolk plus much smaller, of all the eggs I have candled that had detached air cells none hatched or even went so far as to develop

so as soon as I see one I know the egg is a no no but I still set it anyway

as some people do report success!

Ok, I candled my eggs last night which would be day 7 for me. Out of the 13 eggs I have in there, I was only able to tell where the air sac was in 2 of them. The others I couldn't tell where they were. One of the eggs that was noticeable was my bantam cochin egg thats 3-4 days behind the White Rocks. Is this normal or what? Since both of my hygrometers are screwy, I was going to try and go by the air sacs....now I'm not so sure??? Any suggestions? Thanks
