Is there a dual purpose chicken that lays blue eggs? New to chickens and deciding how to build flock.

Black Copper Marans are great for lovely dark chocolate eggs and also meat if they come from the right lines (usually homesteads that try to develop both the dark eggs and heftiness of the birds).

IMO, all birds are dual purpose....but none really fit the roles of both copious egg layers and meaty carcasses.
