Is there a peaceful way to euthanize a chicken?

The vet can euthanize a chicken in much the same way they do dogs or cats, with an injection. The animal simply goes to sleep and that's that.

Peaceful as in..... what does that mean to you?

Not painful for the chicken, not something that will give me nightmares. Example...I've done at-home euthanasia with my dogs/cats where the vet comes to my home. I consider that peaceful. My animal is simply at home and falls asleep.

Then you want to call a vet and do that. Perhaps they won't go to your home, but it's the same procedure at the vet's office. If you're there with her, she won't be afraid...
