Is there a place to buy/sell hatching eggs?

Oh Mary, I have to apologize! I just read your post again and realize you just asked about hatching eggs here "On BYC" Sorry about that. I didn't mean to hijack your post.
Your fine. I didn't realize ebay sold hatching eggs. I found some for an awesome price, so wish me luck, this is my first time hatching eggs.
Thank you.

Mary, here's how the lady packaged my eggs: Each egg had a little bit of a plastic cushy material wrapped loosely around it. Then, those wrapped eggs were in an egg carton. That egg carton was placed in a box that had wadded paper all around it so that it would not shake in the box. Not one egg was broken. Now, I've candled the eggs last night, and they're all doing well, except there is one I'm not real sure about. I think now I'm going to stop candling because I'm afraid I'll drop one or something. I'll share some pics when (if) they hatch!

Believe it or not, EBAY! I just bought some hatching eggs from a lady in NC for paint colored Silkies, and they're all developing nicely. Only 9 days to go! You can also buy them from breeders. Just google for example: Silkie breeders in Ohio (or your state), and you might be able to find some.

Please keep me UTD on your chickies and the hatch rate. If you can, DM me the name of the breeder on eBay you used. Thank you!

Usually, when you get sent eggs, like i did recently, they come in a carton, but each individually bubble wrapped, and the box filled either with packing peanuts, newspaper, or plastic bags to cushion the eggs. Only one of mine were managed, but it was VERY salvageable. Often times, you wont have a single egg broken if you read reviews and purchase from reputable ebay sellers.

Hi! Are you a Silkie lover? I will definitely get you that information when I get home, and message you later. I'll follow you so that I can let you know about the hatch. Cross your fingers for me! I hope all the developing chicks make it out successfully!
