I have a new Brinsea Octagon 20 Automatic -- I hatched ducks and turkeys together over Memorial Day weekend. I cleaned up the "gross filth" and debris, but haven't done a deep cleaning on the unit yet.
Now, I have some quail eggs coming in the mail tomorrow.
I just wondered if anyone has any tips about how to really clean an incubator properly. Any special tips I won't find in the manual, that sort of thing, any "secrets" to doing it right?
I have the cleaning fluid sold by Brinsea -- should I use that or bleach or just what?
TIA.
