Is there a way to keep ducks from pooping in one spot?

I know this title seems weird, but i have 7 silver appleyard ducks, and they live in a large, 9x9 foot hoop house. They are given a fresh bucket of water everyday, but lord, all they do is stand next to it and poop!

Im using the deep litter method best I can, but they stand by the water all day, leaving a solid massive ring of smelly duck poo that needs new hay everyday on it just in that spot.

Short of moving their water into a new spot everyday, how do you other duck owners handle the poop problem?

This is the watering station. I use sawdust pellets under the water pot. I scrape the poop off the top daily, put it in the garden or compost.
