Is there a way to search forum by location?

hi... i'm wanting to see if there are any other chicken loving people in my local area adn want to know if there is a way to search members be geographical location? i've tried but don't seem to be making any headway. any info would be appreciated!

There's a couple of different ways to find other members in California:
1) Up in the blue tool bar, go to "User List" - there are parameters there to search by state and region.
2) In the "Where am I? Where are You" forum, there are several dedicated California threads - southern, northern, etc.

thanks for the response. unfortunately, that doesn't really help. california is so big that the region of southern california would generate thousands of members not very close to me. i was wondering if there can be a search done by towns. i'm in a small town in southern california and would really like to see how many others are here. thanks!
