Is there a way to tell Roos from pullets in 2 day old Jersey Giants?

    Just curious.
I ordered straight run with 6 JG, 5 Partridge Rocks, and 5 Speckled Sussex.
The Speckled Sussex don't all look the same, so I know I have a mix.
The JG all look exactly the same!
I am actually hoping for a roo in the JG, but just wondered if I should wait a while before even trying to guess?
I'll try to post some pics later.

When choosing my Cuckoo Marans I used the upside down trick - turn the chick upside down in your hand and the males will squirm and fight and the females will calm farily quick. I got 5 out of 6 hens with this method but its not a 100% thing. I may have gotten lucky as well.

There's vent sexing and a type of feather sexing, but I can't tell you how to do it. Someone else could. [IMG]
