Is there any chance my marans will lay sooner

so I’ve done a lot of research about my chcikens. From what I’ve read it says my cuckoo marans won’t lay till 9 months which for them is in December. And from also what I read all chickens take a break in winter. So is it possible that my marans will lay sooner than expected. Right now they are 20 weeks and my Brahma supposedly won’t start laying until 26 to 28 weeks, I just didn’t know at the time I was getting late layers.

Well my cuckoo’s started laying at 20 weeks so hopefully there is a chance
