Is there any natural antibacterial type cream /salve I can make to use on chickens?

I know many for use on humans but they contains essential oils or infusions of herbs which may not be safe for poultry use since they might ingest some of it (by accident or purpose).
My he recently escaped being caught by 2 crowned eagles but she has lacerations and puncture wounds which I am treating with disinfectant and antibacterial cream. I was just wondering if there was anything else that could be used on a more long term basis to help with wound healing

Thanks. I was just a bit concerned about comfrey since it is not recommended to use internally and a hen might pick at a salve used on her or others?

I think in the amounts present in a salve, it would be pretty low risk, the type of comfrey also matters. But always do what you are comfortable with.
