is there any plants flowers besides cosmos

That can survive or be planted during winter? Im new to this whole gardening thing. we Just had our first frost and my cosmos are still blooming strong. so i brought my single purple heart leaves in my house in a pot. So pretty but any advice on any flowers i can add to my garden during winter besides artificial mums or cosmos marigolds lol

Pansies are a great flower for cold weather. (they don't like heat)
They may go dormant when it gets really cold but will start blooming again during warm spells and then really get going in spring.

A lot depends on your location. If you put it in your profile, that will help folks to give geographically pertinent advice. All we grow here in the winter is snow, ice and cold.

I live in Oklahoma... Lol its very it can be freezing one day and feel like spring all in one day...
