First time chicken owner, first time posting!

We have 6 chicks, mixed breed. This one in particular has larger waddles than the rest, that are red, and the comb is also much larger, and RED. This photo was taken at 4 weeks old. Is there any way this isn't a rooster? Is it true that pullets won't get red combs until they start laying? A few of the others have pinkish/orangish combs, but nothing like this one. (I realize this isn't a great photo for seeing the full body, if I get good response here I can go out and take better photos tomorrow) :)

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Is he a white Leghorn?
Could be. Although he does have some black markings on his back which you can't see. We were told they were a barnyard mix, some others have beige, and some are white with black throughout. I'm no good with breeds!
