Is there any way to shovel poo without getting it on you?

Well I cleaned the coop last week it took all of 30 minutes and no poo on me just straw. This week was the pen. The pen gets layered with leaves in the fall and straw through the winter to keep it dry enough to walk on. This poopy wet rotting mess is what I was shovelling this week and I put it on the garden. I have not spread it out yet but I will worry about that later. Then I added a wagon load of fresh top soil to the pen to make it smell nice. We will add several more loads thoughout the summer.

If you don't use it in your garden, put an add on craigslist " free chicken manure for garden." when someone contacts you you tell them " you can have it if you come get it"

A lot of people will.

Well I don't normally use it but I am going to this year. I had a guy who wanted to buy it but when I called the number it was no longer in service so whatever happened there I can't reach him. I normally use cow manure from Dads cows but Dad is getting out of cows and keeping his extra poo this year. So I am going to use my chicken poo.
