I was afraid they might be toxic, but they're probably just sour. I heard geese used to be kept in orchards to eat the fallen fruit so I'll see if they want them.

Any human uses? Can you cook them somehow?

Apple pucker jam ... I'd have to dig up a recipe, but its mmmmmm good, usually made with crabapples, but don't see a difference lol
