I hope he is viable! Did you see ANY movement?

I swear I did, but I have notoriously shaky hands, so I can't say for 100% one way or the other. I wanted to watch it for a bit, but I knew I needed to get it under the heat and some humidity asap. If he is viable, I didn't want to flip him around too much and bonk his little head around.

If it moves it is alive. Typically in my (very little) experience the embryo will make jumpy movements.

There is definitely something moving around in there now. My phone camera is awful, but something's moving!

Maybe? That is not what movement looked like in my chicken eggs but I have never incubated duck eggs.

I've attempted to incubate rescued mallard eggs before, and they were a bit different. There's something definitely kicking around in there, though!

There is but he/she is only about a week old (prob was slipped in there by a diff duck after they others were incubated for awile.)

Any thoughts on where we're at? This egg is very mysterious when it comes to trying to figure out where it is in development. Definitely movement still going on. I just can't make anything out.
