Don't feel to bad, they are still pretty, colorful, healthy looking birds that will be fun to watch and should make good "pets". That is the main reason I have my birds.
That hen might be able to incubate eggs from other pheasants. That would give her another purpose.
As far as hybrids go... I don't see the point in having them with feed prices the way they are. It's a waste of resources, space and time in my opinion. I have enough pure birds to worry about.
OK, I don't know to much about Pheasants, but I did see Reeves that were crossed with Ringnecks what would that be? Hybrid or Cross? they were turning them loose on there land so they could hunt them.
