Is there anyone who is able to review the feed I have created-soy, wheat, corn, and dairy free due t

Thanks Alice.
If you're helping individuals with these questions off-line, it would be great if you posted the response here as well - so the rest of us can learn too.
We look forward to hearing from you !

Oh no!
I haven't got the hang of this forum at all. I keep writing posts, scrolling back to refer to the original post and the next thing I know my message is gone!
I'm Alice Royle, owner and nutritionist of Union Point Custom Feeds. I spotted Susie's and Gayle's messages doing a web search while working on the new website this weekend. I am so sorry I didn't get back to you folks. I don't remember what was going on, but I thought I could retrieve the number from my phone and I couldn't. (I tried to send you a PM yesterday but I don't think it worked) so I signed up for this forum too, although we make feed at a larger scale than most of you would ever need, and we are tiny compared to most mills.
Anyway, I'll be glad to weigh in on some of this as I have time. I love chickens and talking nutrition, and lately I have had to spend more time than I'd like with the mechanical, business and purchasing ingredients part of milling, so as I am able I'll help if I can.
I hope this goes through!

I am wondering if we can get some of our local stores that provide feed to also carry this type of feed. I am thinking Naomi's Organic Farm Supply and Urban Farm Store here in Portland, I'd bet there are others. There are so many people with celiac, this would definitely be something more than just a few of us are interested in.

And/or many of the food buying clubs - there are a ton around here and I am sure a few of them would be interested in carrying the feed.

Re: celiac intolerances, other grains like corn can also be an issue, as well as canola - oil or otherwise.

So I finally have my feed mixed and ready to go. This is how I turned it out:

Field Peas 20% (Ground up in our grain mill)
Alfalfa Pellets 15% (Ground up in our grain mill)
Hulled Sunflower Seeds 15%
Pumpkin Seed 12% (Coarsely chopped)
Milo 10%
Millet 10%
Flax Seeds 5%
Buckwheat 4% (Included for its high Lysine content)
Fish Meal 4% (For the Ducks)
Sesame Seeds 2%
Brewer's Yeast 2%
Kelp 1%

Total Protein Content (from what I can find) 18%

If anyone sees blaring issues, I would love to know! Putting Probiotics and vitamin/minerals in the water. Thanks for all of the feedback (And remember that we have very compelling reasons to exclude all gluten grains as well as corn and soy)

Now that the weather is turning colder - I am wondering what folks feed their chickens to give them extra warmth, since traditionally it is suggested to give them a handful of corn before bed during the winter.
