Thank you for your replies. I had already seen the part about the potato peels and I knew not to feed any meat. I had seen that someone on here said they loved acorns. We built their pen under an oak tree that has low branches so they always have shade. I read someplace else last night that acorns and oak leaves were poisonous to them. Did we make a mistake? I need to post pictures when I get them downloaded.
A funny story though:
The first night we had them, we finally decided the pen was pig proof and walked in the house. A few minutes later, the guineas started going nuts and my dog started barking. I looked outside and didn't see anything. They started to do it again so I walked outside. As I walked towards the noise of the guineas, I saw them standing around the side of the pig pen in a semicircle. At first I thought they had just finally noticed the pigs, but when I got closer, they had trapped one of the piggies against the side of the pen. She was trying desperately to get back in until we rounded her up and stuck her back in with her buddies. Needless to say we spent the next hour repigproofing the pen after we figured out where she had climbed up to get out.
By the way all 3 are girls, we didn't want to have to worry about castrating anyone.
I forgot to add that we wormed them the first day we had them.
