Is there anyway you can visually tell the gender of turken chicks?

Was at the local feed store last night and noticed they have Turken chicks. I saw my first Turken last year at the fair and fell in love. My husband thinks I'm crazy.

So I'm wondering if there's any way to tell the gender of them when they are little chicks? We don't do roosters because the last time we had some they ended up attacking our kids when they went in to get their pet hens out. So if it ends up being a rooster it wouldn't be able to stay.

There is no way to tell the gender by sight, but I have two Naked Neck roosters, and they are big babies! You can always sell or eat the roosters! They are a lot easier to pluck!

Ok Thanks. Our last roosters were 2 bantams and a polish crested and they all turned out mean. And with my kids being so young it just wasn't a good thing.
But if it turns out to be a rooster and a sweet one it will get to stay.
We're going to be getting some straight run chicks and hope we get better luck then last time. 3 years ago we got 3 straight run chicks and they all ended up being roosters. It was a good thing we got some pullets too.
