Is there hope?

Lots of noise and moving around, but the one leg looks crooked. It hatched about 2 hrs ago, is there hope? A way to treat it?

There are lots of videos and threads showing toe, foot and leg splints. I have had a few hatch with hip displacement and was unable to fix most of them and had to cull chicks. Good luck and happy new year.

Yes, it does look like a hip. I fixed a few chicks and the recovery was very quick. some of those chicks didn't make it. YouTube has great videos. I had trouble with wire pipe cleaner techniques.

Tried this, but it kept pulling its legs out

Most stubborn quail ever, found it in the incubator with both legs pointing straight to the back

It's hip makes a clicking noise when it moves, any idea what that can be?
